This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Revelara platform and related services (the "Service") provided by Revelara AI LLC ("Revelara AI," "we," "us," or "our"). This AUP is incorporated into and supplements our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. We may update this policy from time to time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
1. Intended Use
The Service is designed to help engineering and operations teams identify, assess, and manage reliability risks. It does this by scanning connected codebases and data sources, processing postmortem and incident report data, and generating risk assessments and related outputs.
You may use the Service only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service to:
2.1 Violate Laws or Rights
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
- Infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party
- Process data that you do not have the legal right to access, collect, or analyze
2.2 Compromise Security
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or any connected systems
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related infrastructure
- Circumvent any security measures, authentication mechanisms, or access controls
- Transmit malware, viruses, worms, trojans, or any other malicious or harmful code
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks or otherwise interfere with the availability of the Service
2.3 Misuse the Platform
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or models underlying the Service
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service except through our published APIs
- Use the Service to build a competing product or service, or to benchmark the Service for competitive purposes without our written consent
- Resell, sublicense, lease, or redistribute access to the Service
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Service
2.4 Submit Prohibited Data
- Submit or connect data sources containing credentials, secrets, API keys, tokens, or passwords unless the specific feature is designed to handle such data securely
- Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise objectionable
- Submit personally identifiable information (PII) of individuals without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards
- Process data subject to specific regulatory requirements (such as HIPAA-protected health information or PCI cardholder data) unless you have a separate written agreement with us that covers such data
2.5 Abuse AI and Automated Features
- Attempt to extract, replicate, or reverse engineer any machine learning models, training data, or AI components used by the Service
- Use the Service's outputs to train third-party AI or machine learning models without our written consent
- Deliberately manipulate inputs to generate misleading, inaccurate, or harmful risk assessments
- Represent automated outputs from the Service as human-generated analysis where such distinction is material
2.6 Overload the Service
- Exceed any rate limits, storage quotas, or usage thresholds associated with your Subscription plan
- Use the Service in a way that degrades performance or availability for other users
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or access restrictions
3. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account and for ensuring that anyone you authorize to use the Service complies with this AUP. This includes employees, contractors, and any third parties who access the Service through your Account.
You are responsible for reviewing and sanitizing data before connecting it to the Service. In particular, you should ensure that connected repositories and data sources do not contain hardcoded secrets, credentials, or sensitive personal information unless the relevant Service feature is specifically designed to handle it.
4. Monitoring and Enforcement
We do not proactively monitor Customer Data for AUP compliance. However, we reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to take appropriate action, including:
- Issuing a warning and requesting that you remedy the violation
- Temporarily suspending your access to the Service
- Permanently terminating your Account
- Removing or disabling access to content that violates this AUP
- Reporting violations to law enforcement where required or appropriate
Where possible, we will notify you before taking enforcement action and give you an opportunity to address the issue. However, we may act immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe there is an imminent threat to the security, integrity, or availability of the Service or to other users.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any use of the Service that violates this AUP, please report it to trust@revelara.ai. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
6. Relationship to Terms of Service
This AUP is part of your agreement with Revelara AI. A violation of this AUP constitutes a violation of the Terms of Service and may result in suspension or termination of your Account as described in Section 14 of the Terms.
